La superficie della conchiglia è ornata da una serie di macchioline bianche disposte regolarmente come si può vedere nella foto di sinistra. L'immagine a destra invece mette in evidenza i cordoni spirali che, più marcati nella parte inferiore del giro, danno allo stesso un aspetto carenato. Si può notare come in ciascun cordone i tasselli bianchi siano disposti in modo alternato rispetto al cordone inferiore e a quello superiore.

The surface of the shell is decorated with a series of white spots arranged regularly as you can see in the picture on the left. The image on the right hand shows that the spiral cords, more marked in the lower part of the tour, making it looking carinate.  The white plugs in each cords are arranged alternately compared to the upper and lower cord.
