DALLA REDAZIONE

Nel pubblicare con estremo piacere questo lavoro dell’amico Margelli, prendo spunto dalle sue parole, nel sottolineare l’importanza di un primo "approccio” a quella che è la malacofauna continentale italiana ed europea. In un mondo dove si argomenta e disserta molto, ma poco si documenta, dare una prima visione di quella che è la bellezza dei nostri molluschi terresti, è forse doveroso. Colori e forme che non hanno nulla da invidiare agli altrettanto stupendi terrestri di aree esotiche, forse un po’ più noti; rivisitare, appunto, queste nostri piccoli “ tesori” ci meraviglia un po’, ma allo stesso tempo ci incuriosisce e ci affascina.

Vorremmo sperare che questo coraggioso lavoro, sia un’anteprima, ad altre iniziative analoghe, nel convincimento che la sua lettura possa “ risvegliare “ la volontà di proseguire in tale cammino, dando nuova vita e nuovi colori a questi piccoli esseri un po’ dimenticati.

In publishing this work of his with great pleasure Margelli, I draw inspiration from his words, stressing the importance of a first "approach" to what is the continental malacofauna of the Italy and Europe. In a world where it is argued and disserts much, but little is documented, give a first overview of what is the beauty of our terrestrial mollusks, is probably a must. Colors and shapes that have nothing to envy to the equally beautiful land of exotic areas, perhaps a little 'more known; revisit, in fact, these our little "treasures" we wonder a bit', but at the same time it intrigues and fascinates us.

We would hope that this courageous work, and a preview for other similar initiatives in the belief that reading can "wake up" the will to pursue this path, giving new life and new colors in these tiny, a little forgotten.
