DALLA REDAZIONE

  Non sempre l’opinione pubblica riesce ad avere notizia dei disastri ambientali che ogni giorno accadono in tutto il mondo in molte aree geografiche diverse una dall’altra.
  Per contro una maggiore percezione di questo fenomeno è spesso vissuta. in forma diretta, laddove tali manifestazioni insistono nelle aree di diretto impatto dell’uomo come le modificazioni delle zone costiere con particolare riferimento alle aree urbane che sono contigue alle coste ed alle spiagge.
  A tale fenomeno, in forma generale, si aggiungono altri fattori naturali tra i quali l’erosione delle coste ad opera del mare ed altri fattori climatici più generali.
  Gli interventi dell’uomo, destinati al ripascimento delle coste non sono sempre stati operati nella piena cognizione del fenomeno sotto il punto di vista tecnico-scientifico, anche se, nel tempo, tali cognizioni hanno subito una diversa rivisitazione alla luce di ulteriori ricerche ed approfondimenti scientifici. Peraltro, è doveroso segnalare che, in alcuni casi, tali interventi sono stati oggetto di argomentazioni speculative guidate dalla spinta di interessi non sempre scientifici.
  Questo lavoro è forse un primo passo destinato a dare qualche notizia in più relativamente agli interventi che, tra passato e presente, hanno interessato alcune aree geografiche delle nostre coste.

  Not always the public is able to have news of environmental disasters that happen every day all over the world in many different geographical areas from each other.
  However, a greater perception of this phenomenon is often experienced. directly, where such events insist in the areas of direct human impacts such as changes in coastal areas, with particular reference to urban areas that are contiguous to the coasts and beaches.
  In this phenomenon, in general form, combined with other factors such as natural coastal erosion by the sea, and other climatic factors more generally.
  Human interventions, intended for nourishment of the coast were not always operated in full knowledge of the phenomenon from the point of view of science and technology, although, over time, such knowledge have been a different revision in the light of further research and insights scientific. Moreover, it should be noted that, in some cases, such interventions have been the subject of speculative arguments and driven by interests do not always scientific.
  This work is perhaps a first step intended to give you some more news concerning the activities that, between past and present, have affected some regions of our coasts.
