Il Ripascimento  Le attività di ripascimento e, più in generale, di tutela delle coste marine, sono opere di grandissime dimensioni e sono, di conseguenza, eseguibili solo da parte delle strutture statali di ciascun paese.  Le dimensioni di questi lavori richiedono grandi investimenti e, come in tutti i casi di questo genere, smuovono molti interessi, alcuni leciti e altri non del tutto corretti. Ne conseguono quelle ormai notissime manifestazioni dell'opinione pubblica pro o contro queste cose.  In internet sono disponibili quantità di notizie e documenti semplicemente impressionanti: provate ad effettuare una ricerca con la chiave "ripascimento" e ne vedrete delle belle.  Il nostro interesse esula da questi temi, ma è rivolto esclusivamente al fatto che da pochi anni molti malacologi segnalano la presenza di specie "assolutamente sconosciute" sulle spiagge da loro abitualmente frequentate.  Il collegamento di questo fenomeno a quello delle attività di ripascimento è stato un passo che diremmo breve.  Successivamente si è arrivati a capire quale era l'origine di queste conchiglie ed una eventuale loro datazione.
