Gli Alieni - The Aliens
Molti animali marini varcano lo stretto di Gibilterra o il Canale di Suez giungendo così nel Mar Mediterraneo. Tra questi anche i molluschi. Alcune specie riescono ad adattarsi a questo nuovo ambiente e a riprodursi moltiplicandosi. Altre non solo si adattano ma divengono "invasive" prendendo il sopravvento sulle specie locali e provocando anche danni all'ecosistema. Vengono quindi chiamati "alieni", non per dire che vengono da un altro mondo, ma perchè sono specie nate e diffuse in mari diversi dal nostro. Many marine animals cross the Strait of Gibraltar or the Suez Canal and thus arrive in the Mediterranean Sea. Among these there are the mollusks. Some species can adapt to this new environment multiply and reproducing themseves. Other not only adapt but also become "invasive" taking precedence over local species and even causing damage to the ecosystem. They are so called "aliens", except to say that they are from another world, but because they are born and widespread species in seas than ours. Here is a list of species shows that we know as "alien presence" in our seas. |
